The green light is on but the device behave like it's turned off. No wifi, no ethernet interactions, no way to reset it with the little hole. 

I tried different cables, power adapters - nothing.

Try the 30-30-30 reset... Sometimes it works... https://www.router-reset.com/30-30-30-reset-factory-defaults-wireless-router/

I had strange things with a router when my UPS went bad. May want to try a different power source. But it sounds like it may be "bricked". There are instructions on the internet for un-bricking some routers which might work.

You can consider calling or emailing TP-Link support for some help, maybe the device is faulty..
