USB-device as regular NAS resource?

I'm trying to get a USB disk that I've attached to my Archer C9 to appear as a regular shared resource that I can connect to with Windows/SMB syntax, i e  \\my_router\shared_disk. Not successful with this, can only access it as a media server.

Is there a trick to get the C9 to share the way I want it to? The idea is to use it as a resource for backup.

Thanks,

Lars.
