When checking for the wn881nd it is shown as an unknown network controler.

The properties doesn't make any reference to tp-link

Of course loading the driver is impossible

What should I do?

As long as your comptuer recognizes the adapter even the adapter is recognized as unknown or other, you can install driver. It should change to tplink or the name of the chipset after driver installed.
