My devices frequently experience lost connections to the range extender RE650, even when the devices had excellent signal at the same spot.

So far, my workaround is to restart the range extender. I have also updated the firmware. But it still happens.

Anyone has similar experience and a solution?

How far between the range extender and your mian router? If you connect to your main router's Wi-Fi at the same place with the range extender, will you drop connection? How about move the ragne extender a little bit close to the main router? It's suggested to setup different SSID.
