Ever since my iPad updated to iOS 6, I can't connect to the wifi of my router for longer than 40 sec. If I then forget the network, reconnect I have time for 1 page load and then it is gone again.

I've read that netgear for example know about an issue with some of their routers and are looking into it. http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/21865

I was wondering if anyone else has found the same with the iOS 6 TL-WR841ND combination? And even better, has anyone found a work around until apple fixes their stuff?

Any response welcome

You have a router TL-WR841ND or TL-WR1043ND? Change a different security type to have a try. Or you may disable the WMM.

Disable the security on the TP-LINK could be a temporary solution even though this is not what we want. Second option could be update the firmware of your TP-LINK .

Hello

Also kindly try setting the channel of the wifi router to channel 11 and have it restarted and try to see
if your Ipad can reconnect to the router (with a wifi security key enabled).

I am ?experiencing exactly the same issues as the topic starter

Both at home and in the office as well.
Both using tplink access points

How about WMM disabled? Vanwegen, you'd better provide model no. TP-LINK may be connecting such cases.

my TL-WR941 ND has not worked properly with IPAD2 And IPHONE4S since upgrading to IO6, devices work fine in all other areas and wifi. it works for 20 seconds then needs re set then wlll last 60 seconds befoer needing reset again, FB and Twitter hardly work at all, its driving me mad, apple not helpful at all,
please help?
