Try a different security type.

How about the profile saved on you computer? If you have got an old profile with the same name of the router saved on the computer, you can try to delete it and reconnect again.

I had face the same issue with my Windows 7 64Bit laptop with Intel wireless Pro.
I have try many options the one works with me as follows :
Wireless Security WPA/WPA2 - Personal
Encryption - You should select Automatic
Don't select TKIP or AES.
After I did that the problem solved and I can connect my laptop with no issues hope that will solve yours.
