Your firmware version is the worst, you have to roll back...

Which firmware can you suggest me? There are 3 available:
- 4/28/2013 (the one I have)
- 3/25/2013
- 4/5/2012

Mine is currently 130325 but it is no more my main router.
When it was, I used 120210 during a lot of months without major trouble...

@paiolo: Have you managed to resolve this somehow? Are you still facing problems with the April firmware (just like me)

Sorry... no news; I kept my firmware version and I simply got used to reboot it nearly one time a week :-(

Here is an update. After posting on this forum, I contacted TP-Link support via the website support form. I got a response back via email to provide my phone number, Then the next day, I got a call from TP-Link local support confirming that there is a hardware issue with the device and it will be replaced free of cost.
Unfortunately they have just one service center in the entire state. They were not able to arrange for a replacement device in my city despite having a distributor in my city.
After repeated follow-ups, with no results, finally I had my relative travel all the way to the service center (200 KM's from my place).
He was given a new device as replacement (it shows version 1.11 just like the earlier device, but the date of manufacturing is October 2013).
I have been using the device since yesterday and so far it has not hanged/ frozen.

So, please get a replacement device from TP-Link support.

What is the version of the replacement router?I think the main problem is the firmware but not the hardware.

I'm using a TL-WR1043ND with last firmware 3.13.13 build 130428...

Every 4-8 days it hangs up... I can't reach web interface, I can't use wi-fi, SYS led stays on (no blinking), but ethernet switch works correctly.

I'm not using it as a router, only as a switch + access point... any idea?

Some older firmware to suggest?
