I am trying to update the firmware.
I disabled my WiFi, connected the Ethernet cable to the link extender unit, but there was no connection.
I am on windows 10.

I followed this article:

[COLOR=#36444B]yes - the connection changed from a faded out wifi icon to the ethernet icon with an exclamation mark. The ethernet LED lit up on the unit.

Step 2: Reset to the factory defaults
Yes, did that. Twice.

Step 3: PING
no reply.

I removed the Ethernet and connected to WiFi to reset the connection details, all of which works as expected and I can use the connection as before I reset.

How do I connect to the unit by Ethernet to update the firmware?
