Changing my MAC Address resulting in no internet access!
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have been banned from a few servers on a game by public ip, and I heard that changing the MAC Address will also change the public ip. Is that true? If so, I tried doing that, but once the new MAC Address is applied, my computer says that theres no internet access and I can't browse on any website so I have to reset it to the factory mac address. It happens when trying to clone my mac address to my PC mac address (or whatever, just clone my mac address). Is this supposed to happen? If I can't change the MAC Address, how can I change my public ip without shutting off my router for a few minutes and starting it again? Thanks.
