USB Wi-Fi adapter TL-WN823N connects to Internet through Vodacom SIM modem but cannot connect to Broadlink WA coming in via a TP-Link RE200.
It reports error as: "Network did not assign a Network address to the computer" I cannot find any documentation about this error .
Perhaps one of the network professionals around here can suggest a remedy, perhaps by manually assigning an address?
The TL-WN823N worked to the WA from an i7 Windows 10 which got a PCI Express Wi-Fi adaptor in an upgrade.
Now on an i5 Windows 10 the USB adapter refuses to connect to WA, but happily connects to SIM-based modems.
The PCI Express route is not available as the graphics card overlaps the express slot.
Help!
