Hi guys,

I was interested in the TL-WN722N for some ethical hacking, but unfortunately the famous V1.x seems to have vanished from the market leaving only V2 and V3. However, according to the support page for V3, there seems to be a Beta driver for Linux that supports Monitor mode, but doesn't specify whether packet injection is also supported or not.

Has anyone here used the V3 with Kali/Aircrack-ng for packet injection? Does it support packet injection in theory but you haven't tried? I'm looking for anything that would make it worth taking the risk.

Thanks

I have the TL-WN722N V3 adapter, but I am having a tough time compiling the driver on my Kali distribution so I can't tell whether it supports packet injection until I resolve the driver issue.
