Hi All:

My network structure have MOD (is a network TV service from my ISP) require, so i use tp-link 105E switch to devide VLAN for this requirement, and have a cable connect between modem and deco m5, and other one cable connect between deco m5 and switch, and other cable between switch and modem is for MOD.
But when after power cut, deco m5 can't auto detect how to re connect to internet, i must remove the cable that between switch and deco m5, when deco m5 connected internet, reconnect the switch for LAN.

could add a function to assign which port for WAN or LAN, if assign port could improve above issue?

thanks.

Does the issue still exist if you power off modem and restart it without connecting switch?

When the issue occurs, what's the LED status on Deco?

ANS:
No this issue, only connect modem is correctly, deco m5 have loop prevention or not?

When the issue occurs, what's the LED status on Deco?
ANS: Is Red.

thanks.

Does your old router have the same issue?

Or it worked properly in the same situation?
