No firmware upgrade for TP-PA4020P V1 since 2014?
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have a WPA4226 kit (UK version), for which the 'wired only' end appears to be a TP-PA4020P V1 (with UK pass-through mains socket). The kit has always exhibited an occasional loss of connection (better with power save off but still occurring daily), and I thought I'd try at last to do a firmware update.
I managed to update the wireless end easily to release V1.3.1 (2017) using tpPLC, and it now displays as 600Mbps and the link seems faster and more reliable too. The indicated link speed is pretty good (was ~110Mbps, now ~165Mbps). However, I can't find any obviously compatible firmware updates for the wired end (the latest firmware version for V1 is 2014).
There are later versions of the firmware for V1.2 hardware listed at https://www.tp-link.com/uk/download/TL-PA4020P-KIT_V1.html#Firmware - are these compatible with V1 hardware or am I stuck with the 2014 firmware and no 600Mbps upgrade?
TIA!
David.
