App says there is a new update: 1.2.1 Rel. 52910

What's new:
1. Optimized the stability of the system
2. Added support for VLAN ID tagging
3. Fixed some small bugs

Have tried to download the update multiple times over several hours and am getting a download failure error every time.

Update: Had to re-boot my Deco base disc and then the update proceeded as expected. Now on version 1.2.1.

No problems to install the new firmware. However still no guestnetwork availible over all 3 units when they are connected wired. Only the 1st unit supports guestnetwork.

It's now possible to delete old devices which haven't been on the network for a long time (manual deletion). As a computer repair guy, I had a *lot*!!

And now we have option to activate Fast Roaming like (7/9).
Advanced Settings.

Works like a charm this update in 4 units.

So I upgraded my 3 Decos to the latest firmware, 1.2.1, and there seem to be new failure modes. Besides “blinking red” there is “solid red” and “blinking green”.

Also the upgrade process wasn’t that smooth. It first upgraded 2 of the Decos leaving the third behind. I went close to that one to upgrade it as well. But now it seems 2 are in one “network” and one is in another even though they have the same name and I’m using the same account to set them up.

And though they’re all in “Access Point” mode the one I’ve got the AppleTV attached to is sometimes playing at being a router — it’s giving out DHCP addresses to the AppleTV when it’s not supposed to and worse it has put it on a different subnet (192.168.0.1/24) than the rest of my home. (You can see how the AppleTV is configured by the network in the Settings App/System/Network.) This is Wrong and obviously doesn’t work.

Too bad you can’t go back to the previous, somewhat less broken, release.

After installed the new firmware I couldn’t access Internet and my 3 Decos was showing a red solid light. So I tried to reset them and create a new network but it was not possible . I think this firmware brick all my devices.
