Evening All. Question on firmware numbers.
Model : Archer C7 - AC1750
Hardware Version : v4.0
Firmware Version : 1.0.4 Build 20170901 rel.56148(4555)
The Router UI update page tells me new firmware is available, giving me the number '1.0.7 Build 20180425 rel.62587' but when I look on my regional download site (UK) the latest download file available says 'Archer C7(CA)_V4_180425'. Which is not quite the same.
I am a little apprehensive at assuming too much. So I ask here for expert assistance.

You're on the wrong TPL site when looking for updates, ensure you click the red link when you search for stuff for your unit to ensure you are on say the german site if you are in germany or Australian one if you are drinking XXXX and have a black eye because the hat cork got you when you ran for the bus ;-)

Hannibal, thanks for you response.
With respect. I navigated to the correct local site with care (UK).
tp-link.com/uk/download/Archer-C7_V4.html#Firmware
Selected correct version (V4).
Clicked the Firmware button.
Latest version stated in router UI is slightly different from download file.
"Run for a bus? Not at my age."

Just make sure you do go to the local region website and the FW will be suitable for your product.
Since you are in UK and your model is Archer C7 V4.0, the link you provided is the right one to update.
