TL-WR841N - Can no longer change password remotely (0.9.1 4.16 v0348.0 Build 170814 Rel.59214n)

In previous firmware builds I am able to change the local password of this router remotely.
Here are two firmware versions where I can still use this option remotely:
3.16.9 Build 150310 Rel.55295n
3.16.9 Build 160624 Rel.44986n

Now as of firmware version 0.9.1 4.16 v0348.0 Build 170814 Rel.59214n hardware version TL-WR841N v13 00000013 I can no longer change the password remotely.\

I have gone through all the settings and the password option has not moved to another section.
I am logged in as the "admin" user.
Our business has hundreds of these devices deployed to external sites that need to be remotely accessed, including changing the password.
How can I change the local user password remotely with this new version?
