Hi guys
I'm in Australia on the NBN fixed wireless network (thru iinet) I currently have an AC1200 modem/router which provides excellent service. However I bought the Archer V600v because it supports VOIP. When I plugged the VR600v in - no internet/ wireless at all. Have done all the usual things - reboots, swapping cables etc.
Also when I type 192.168.1.1 into a browser window I get an old D-Link page ( from a previous modem). Any ideas on how to clear the old D Link page ( seems to be buried deep )
Thanks in advance
Mark

You want to set the VR600v in router mode? Need to login to change its operation mode. If 192.168.1.1 brings up the Dlink page, then it's probably caused by IP conflict. Do not connect the AC1200 modem to the VR600v, just power up the vR600v, connect your phone/laptop to the tplink wifi and access tplinkmodem.net or 192.168.1.1.

Hi Enson, thanks for the reply. Sorry, I should have mentioned that I was connecting the VR600v directly to the NBN . I think the problem is that the VR600v uses a LAN/WAN port whereas the older AC1200 has a dedicated WAN port not sure if this is the prob but its about the only difference that I can see between the two.
Cheers

connect only your laptop to VR600v and disconnect NBN modem. Then login tplinkmodem.net to change the operation mode to wireless router mode.(advance-----------operation mode)
Later connect NBN modem to the lan 4/wan port of VR600V.
if still no luck, i think it is better to call tp-link so they can troubleshoot this on the phone
