Archer C7 LAN not working
Model : Archer C7
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version : 1.0.5 Build 20171101 rel.37754(4555)
ISP : Sky
I recently bought an Archer C7 as an addition to my Sky Hub SR102 to get better wireless coverage in my home. The problem lies in that nothing connected through LAN on the Archer C7 can connect to anything, but connecting to the Sky Hubs LAN works perfectly fine. The setup is like this:
Master Socket in wall > Sky Hub SR102 (Wireless disabled, DHCP enabled) > Archer C7 (Wireless enabled, DCHP enabled) > All connected devices.
I'm trying to virtually eliminate the Sky Hub element from my network setup so my Windows 10 PC (which is currently connected through ethernet to the Sky Hub) is connected to the same router for file transfer between it and my MacBook (connected to Archer C7 WiFi).
I've tried various other settings people in other forums have suggested such as turning of DHCP on the Archer but nothing I've tried seems to work.
I originally wanted to get rid of the Sky Hub entirely but I wasn't knowledgable enough about networking to know that the Archer C7 wasn't able to be a 1 to 1 replacement for the Sky SR102 as it doesn't have an ADSL port.
Any help sorting this would be greatly appreciated and I'm pretty sure I've worded this post terribly but I can definitely clarify things if asked.
Thanks.
