Hey, I've just bought an Archer 1200. I connected it with a cat6 cable to my pc and here is what I got: http://www.speedtest.net/result/7043457256
I
f I connec my PC directly to the internet I get this: http://www.speedtest.net/result/7034233478
T
he difference is enormous so now I'm trying to get some help.

I alredy tried a few advice like this:

Assuming that your computer has sufficient hardware capacity check:
1)Network adapter Speed and Duplex setting. Do you have a Gigabit Ethernet Adapter and is it at 1.0 Gbps Full Duplex? If no, set it to 1.0 Gbps full duplex, run speedtest, if problems persist go to 2.
2)Check the wires. It should be Cat 5e or better. Else go to 3.
3)Router settings: Your router should support Gigabit speeds, also check that you have the latest firmware installed, enough cooling is provided, and QoS should be disabled. If problems persist go to 4.
4) Try bipassing the router and connect your LAN ethernet cable into the modem port for the WAN. (that one cable connected to your router and modem). Run a speedtest. If its normal speed you need a better router. Else go to 5.
5)Are other people hogging your bandwidth? Multiple users streaming can tank your internet bandwidth. If no go to 6.
6)Also check that your gaming PC CPU is not overheating. An overheating CPU can throttle quite a lot. Else go to 7.
7) Call your network provider.

I don't think I need a better router, since it's a gigabit router already
My network provider told me to get help from tplink so now I'm here[/SIZE]

My Archer C1200 use cat6 cable connected WAN and LAN port, then I can get speed about 570Mbps, My ISP provide me 600Mbps
Please make sure all cable should be cat6. If that please contact tplink support.
