Do you also use this latest firmware with your C7 V2?
For the speed issue, you may also need to check the negotiation speed.
It's better to send email at support@tp-link.com to ask for further technical help about the speed issue.

What's the working mode of your C1200?
If you keep it working in its default mode (Router Mode) and AP Mode, it's safe.

No idea what they were doing for months as "testing", but the latest firmware (180305) for Archer C7 V2 is poor.
While it is on, the speeds are OK, but it frequently drops my internet connection, as it is, it's rather unusable, so I decided to revert back to 170803.
I even did a 30-30-30 reset after upgrading the firmware, but it lasts no longer than about 1,5 h :(
After about 90mins, it drops my internet, especioally on ipv4; no browsing, I'm suddenly kicked out of games ...etc.
Youtube, Facebook, Google (which uses ipv6) are working though, at least most of the time.
This aint no much of a help when most of the websites / services (including Tp-Link website) are still using ipv4...

Not to mention that an annoying problem, existing for years now, is stil not resolved:
If I want normal throughput on wifi, I have to turn "Bandwidth control" on, with the maximum allowed 1000000 Kbps, which doesn't makes much sense to me.
Just have be carfeul not to include my wired clients, otherwise my gigabit WAN speed (wich, in practice, means an 870-960Mbps download) instantly drops to 150-170kbps... >:((((

Though it's finally available for download, I'm rather disappointed with this one :(

Needs fix asap!

I was given CDN version 180118 by Tech Support and it has been pretty good except for the USB attached Hard-drive is very very slow , other that that I seem to get the speeds I pay for ( I don't have bandwidth control on) but my service is not that fast ( 25Mbps or 3mbs) so I have no idea if it can handle anything higher well. Version 17 beta also worked well for me , far better that the last official CDN 161031.

Perhaps ask your region's tech support if they have 180118 available to try or contact this guy Edison , I have been dealing with from the TS Team ........... edison.zhang@tp-link.com

180305 is not yet available for download on hungarian website, I tested the one I grabbed from german / UK site
The download links are different, but filename and size are the same (but I've tried both), so I doubt if it makes sense to wait for the hungarian site to update, as for the previous version, the link is very same that is found on the french site.

But they just release a final version of 180305...

Just flashed that version strange but nothing changed after same login same parameters...

For anyone who upgraded to 180305, is it working well for you?
