T4UH can't connect 1043ND v1
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hello,
I recently put my old 1043 into service after moving to a detached house.
I created a subnet with the 1043 on 192.168.2.1. The internet is shared from the primary router (given by our ISP) thourgh (1043)WAN-LAN(main router). I setup WAN connection to dynamic IP on the 1043.
I setup wireless config as follows:
- provided an SSID
- setup wpa2/aes encryption
- ssid broadcasting enabled
- provideded a password
Network setup:
- dhcp (1 reserved address), dhcp IP range starts at 100, ends with 199
Here is the funny part. Every single wireless capable device connects successfully to the 1043 router (none of them is TP-Link) but the 2 TP-Link T4UH just don't give a damn to connet the 1043. I tried to restart 1043 once, did not help at all.
I am using Windows 7 on both machines with the T4UH, both have the same issue. The firmware version of the 1043 is 2.2.15 Build 140319 Rel.41339n
When I try connect the 1043's wifi and provide the password, it just doesn't connect.
I installed TP-Link wireless configuration tool afterwards. After providing the password it tries to connect for about a minute and fails to connect.
What is my problem here, how should I start troubleshooting this issue?
Thanks and best regards,
Sándor
