Please use HTTPS for this forum, people sending their credentials over HTTP is not a secure method and is not a good way to offer customers a secure way to login into the forum.

Thanks for your suggestions and ideas.

 

TP-Link have upgraded the community since 12 in 2018. 

Now the community supports HTTPS access.

I agree. TP Link marketing should see running this site on plain http: as a PR liability, especially as the company tries to position itself as a home network security provider.

I don't know if you noticed, but the post you were replying to is from 2017.  The forum they are refering to is not the one you are posing to.  The new community systems are all https secured - I can't even access them over http without getting an immediate redirect.
