So i have a 200Mb/s internet connection that then runs through a TPlink AV600 setup (TL-WPA4220) at i'm assuming 600Mb/s.

It seems that i should have 3x the capacity and yet my internet that run through the Powerlink Adapter is WAY slower than if i connect directly.

I've just done a speed test and I'm getting 30Mb/s through the powerline adapter which makes me wonder why im bothering with 200Mb/s internet when it seems 50Mb/s will suffice.

In short - how would i speed this up. Is getting an AV2000 product the answer?

AV600 means the link speed in PHY is 600Mbps. the download speed will be influenced by the circuit environment.

The AV600 means the technique will reach 600 Mbit/s max in theory, you will always have a real bandwidth flowing through which is the net bandwidth and in powerline environments it hardly depents on the current circuits. I reach with AV2000 e.g. about 1Gbit/s which is fine for me.

Well that's no help, but thankyou. If im doing a simple LAN file transfer its still much slower via poweline. Would upgrading to AV2000 say make it quicker?
