I just received my new router and upgraded my firmware to 0.9.1 0.1 v004b.0 Build 160712 Rel.55313n and I am now unable to use 2.4Ghz (as it is stating that it is attempting to use channel 36 - yes 36!) and when I try to rename my 5K SSIDs, I am getting at 9805 error message.

In attempting to downgrade my firmware, it is stating error code 4503 - The upload file was not accepted.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, is your router EU or US/CA version? The 160712 is EU firmware. What's the original firmware of your router? Did you try hard reset the router by holding the RESET button on the back of the router for 10s?

I noticed that it is the EU version after I did the update (the router is the US/CA version). I do not know the original version (prior to the update), but I did try a hard reset twice to no avail. I am unable to replace the firmware with any other version now

In that case, better to get help from tplink support at support.ca@tp-link.com
