Dears, I have this model and I want to know why the firmware from the tplink website differs from what I have in the firmware version inside my router homepage?Router homepage:Firmware Version:3.0.0 Build 170103 Rel.02853----- but on official tplink webpages is http://static.tp-link.com/res/down/soft/TD-W8961N_V2_150630.zipAny ideas?Thanks!

The sticker reads Ver: 2.0, but Firmware Version is 3.0.0 Build 170103 Rel.02853
I can see the same Firmware Version listed in your given link, but that's for EU version. I have TD-W8961N( UN).
Where can I find the compatible firmware version?

No, it doesn't show Hardware version specifically in the Management window. Thanks for the clarification.
In that case I couldn't find my current firmware version under V2 either. It was only listed under V3.

I have the same problem. The sticker show:
Model: TD-W8961N(UN) Ver: 2.0
But the modem show this info:
Firmware Version: 3.0.0 Build 170103 Rel.02853
ADSL Firmware Version: FwVer:3.24.13.0_MT7550 HwVer:T14.F7_13.0
I can update with TD-W8961N(EU)_V3_180118 firmware???
