I was looking to buy a AP300 for 5ghz client access, but after learning that you have chosen not to implement the full range of channels supported in Australia and just slapped a EU firmware on it, I have decided against it.

Your support teams excuse of

"I have check with our engineer about 5GHz. In Australia, the 5GHz has been limited in some way for National Security. 5GHz is mostly used for military.

Is incorrect, channels 141 - 165 are not DFS/Military at all.

Category of 5G channel:
Band 1: 36-48
Band 2: 52-64 (DFS channel)
Band 3: 100-140 (DFS channel)
Band 4: 149-165

Complied with CE regulation, product of EU version supports Band 1/2/3

I am stunned that you are utilizing the TP lInk switch since 5 years and no issue experienced till now. Arranging switch Is not a major issue and I figure it will take care of your concern obviously. I wish to know more in insight about this switch and its functioanalities. snap to peruse more
