Just as a bonus it is also possible to setup the IPV6 using this method as well although it is very well hidden within the TP link menus. Not where you would usually think it should be. You have to modify your connection and add the ability there. THEN it works.

Hope this helps anyone in my situation.

Hi All,

 

I'm having serious issues trying to replace the SkyQ Router wit the VR2800

No settings seem to work

I've tried the above

 

Can anyone advice?

How did you configure the VR2800? Could you please elaborate the procedures? Is there any error message?

 

What is the current light status of the Archer VR2800? 

 

Is there any special settings need to be done on the router to make it work?

Hi Kevin

 

Looks like a faulty VR2800

The DSL light never comes on...even after the DSL line is plugged in for ages.

I'm sending the router back.

Actually, the DSL led off does not mean that the device is faulty, instead, it is caused by many factors, like  the DSL scychronization failed. We can do some troubleshooting on it. 

 

For example, you can remove the splitter, change another DSL line or hard reset the router by holding the reset hole for 10s.

 

While if you have returned it back, you can check whether the next router works fine.

Hi i have two problem with sky hub sr102 please help me :

1- i cant change adsl setting (such as vpi , vci, username , password)@Shield101 

2- i cant find new firmware in sky site for update .
