TD-W9970: Formatting external Hard Disk for file sharing in my home network
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have a TP-LINK modem/router TD-W9970, with a USB port.
I want to use an external hard disk into the USB port to share files and movies in my network with DLNA (between computers, smart tv, etc.)
As a home computer I only have MAC.
This is the problem: I read in the settings that this router reads only FAT32 or NTFS formatted hard disks.
- But the FAT32 can not upload movies over 4gb, and I have movies more than 10gb.
- And NTFS is not writable by MAC and I use Mac only ...
What can i do ??? Are there other Hard Disk formats that TD-W9970 can read, though not specified in the settings? Or are there other solutions?
Thank you
