TL-PS310U disappears from network after a while [SOLVED]
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :

Hi,
i am using the "print server" TL-PS310U with a Brother DCP-7030.
If i disconnect the power cord and connect it again all works fine.
But the next day the TL-PS310U disappears from my network and i have to disconnect and connect it from power again. The reset button does not work what is weird too. This is really annoying.
Anybody any suggestion what is wrong with my device ?

I had the same problem as @commanderz described. After 5-10 minutes, my TL-PS310U lost, disappears, no response to ping. The only way to bring it alive again was to reconnect from the power.
I can confirm, that new firmware, posted by @Shield101 (and new download link provided by @FadeFX in reply no. #16) solved this issue. Thank you very much! After a week, TL-PS310U is still online and working like a charm.
I have TL-PS310U rev 2.1, stock firmware ver. 2.064.000.T0209.
The new firmware is ver. 2.076.003.T0209.
To update new firmware, you have to use web management interface of the print server, using menu "Misc -> Firmware upgrade".
It would be fine to post new firmware in official support page of this printserver, because you can find more threads in this forum about this issue.

I can confirm Jori's comment (message #18). With Firmware 2.076.003.T0209 (updated via the web page rather than via the Utility) my TL-PS310U now works perfect!
No network disappearing anymore. Thanks to all.
Regards,
Johan.

TL-PS310U disappears from network after a while!
Hi
I have the same problem with the TL-PS310U. Have installed it 2 months ago, with a Canon MP550 MFP machine where I can use all features when the TL-PS310U is in operation.
data:
Hard ware: ver2,1
Firm ware: 2,064,000.T0209 updated to 2.066,000.T0209, following the recommendation of TP-link's service department (file is 513KB).
This has not solved the problem of the TL-PS310U disappearing from the network and it is necessary to restart the PS310U to print or scan!
I have googled and found this forum which I believe has found the solution to my problem. Have downloaded the file (2.076.003.T0209) from the dropbox link, but wondering the size of the file at (32KB), is it the right file?
Have not yet updated the firmware on my PS310U.
I want to know if this firmware also supports MFP machines?
Regards

Yes Hurup, the 32 kB is the right file.
As Jori said: "To update new firmware, you have to use web management interface of the print server, using menu "Misc -> Firmware upgrade".
Succes!
Johan.

Thanks for your quick response.
I have just one question before I install the firmware: Is it possible to downgrade the firmware if anything should go wrong?
Best regards

Hi Johan
I have now opgrated the firmware from the web management as you and Jori said and everything works perfectly!
My printer is a Canon MP 550. which is not mentioned on the list from TP-link.
Best regards from a very happy user
