Hi,

 

3 decos spread across my home.

 

Some devices really have trouble connecting to the deco wifi, well, they actually won't connect. Examples are a Eufy X10 Pro Omni vacuum, a Yoto Mini audio player.

 

Yes,

 

- all advanced features turned off, beamforming, fast switching etc.

- set up both a guest network and IoT network with 2.4ghz band only and basic encryption

- yes, the password is correct (duh...)

- and finally yes, the devices do connect to other wifi that is not the tp-link XE75 one...

 

Hence, tp-link, your move. Quite disappointed by how many issues these seem to cause. Considering to sell and buy something else now. Also, zero support from tp-link beyond generic trouble-shooting suggestions (which as mentioned above I have already attempted to to through with...)

 

Any other suggestions?

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

Have you tried a 2.4GHz IoT network with "No security" to see whether it made any difference?

Would there be any error message when these two devices failed to connect to Deco XE75?

 

Here is a beta firmware based on the official 1.2.14 version that has optimized the 2.4GHz performance. 

If you are interested, you can find it in the private message.

 

Other than that, there are no other suggestions. If you would like to spend a little bit more time, it would be highly appreciated if you could submit the support ticket to support. forum@tp-link.com (please add the forum ID# 794798) so that I can forward it to the senior engineer for further assistance.
