Hi

Background:

Moved over from Deco Mesh system to an Omada System and I am struggling to wrap my head around how the mesh system works through Omada

This is the setup I currently have in place:

ER7212PC 3-in-1

EAP650-Outdoor (Ethernet)

EAP773 (Ethernet)

Unmanaged Switch

EAP650-Outdoor which is providing internet inside of our office from the main building

The issue I am trying to get my head around is the correct configuration I should have for this. The second EAP650-Outdoor device which is not connected via Ethernet back to the ER7212PC does not show on my Device List under the Omada Controller but it does show as a Standalone Unit. In addition to this, I do not seem to be able to update the firmware through the Omada app for this one particular device, whereas I can for the other devices connected via Ethernet back to the main switch / router

What is the correct way that this system should be set up?

Thanks

How far away is the EAP650-outdoor from the wired EAP? Please move it closer to the uplink EAP to have another try.

Is the Mesh feature enabled on the controller?
