Hi Deco Users,

Thanks to the dedicated work of our engineers, a new Deco App version 3.8.102/3.8.112 has been created to enhance the Deco user experience.
This release mainly adds some enhancements and bug fixes to optimize the Onboarding Process. We are excited to announce that a field test is currently underway. Your engagement and feedback is highly appreciated!

 

 

What’s New

1. Supported a whole new Onboarding UI.
2. Reduced Onboarding time.
3. Simplified Onboarding steps.
4. Fixed some bugs and improved the stability.

***On the Beta APP, if you can't subscribe to the Advanced Parental Control/Security+, or the subscription is only valid for a limited time, it is due to the subscription section being under a test environment and not fully integrated with the actual HomeSheild service platform. In this case, any previous subscription isn't charged. We recommend subscribing to the HomeShield service kit through the official app.  If you have already subscribed on the official APP, the HomeShield service will function as intended.

 

Update Advice:

1. Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!

2. How to install the Beta App in Test Flight: https://testflight.apple.com/.

3. You could withdraw the Testing directly if you no longer wish to test the app by tapping Stop Testing in TestFlight on iOS or deleting the APP on Android OS.

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

The 3.8.101 beta is mainly modifying the onboarding process which is not supposed to cause the current issue.

The reported issue here is more like the following post:

Satellite Deco Units Work Well but Display Offline on the Deco APP

I'd like to follow up on your case via email to analyze the reported issue further.

Dear TP-LINK Team!

Maybe it would be better, if you'll try to concentrate your restricted code writing resources to make first of all stable network management - show always ON-LINE clients correctly, not some do, some not and prevent App from crushing during client adding/changing/removing process.

At present moment not possible to rely on presented in App information at all - it can be real and can be not. Not possible to understand how real/ actual/past information is Version 3.8.69 and 3.8.112 on IOS give +/- same results

Hi, nice to see you again.

I checked the sample Deco XE75 since I don't have a Deco X50-5G available now. Under "Add smart devices">Tapo List, there are "Tapo P100 and Tapo P125 M." Personally, I think "Tapo P100M" is supposed to be added under

Deco Smart Home.

Have you tried to select Tapo P125M or Tapo P100 to see whether you can finish the smart home integration?
