Slow Wifi Speed on Deco M5
@David-TP My ISP Provides 500 Mbps Plan and the Speedtest in the Deco App Shows me around 450+ Mbps upload and Download Speed. But I am unable to get even 250-300 Mbps speed over Wifi on any of my devices even just standing next to the Deco M5 and connected to the 5GHZ Network. The ISP Technician got his Dual Band Router and tested my line& was able to get Speed Above 500 Mbps on Wifi. So i am sure it something Wrong with the Deco M5. Request you to please help solve this issue at the earliest.

Troubleshooting Slow Internet Speed with Deco Devices
If the problem remains, please help confirm the following information.
1. Please describe your network diagram in detail.
2. Connect a PC to the main Deco by an ethernet cable, and what's the wired download speed and link speed on the PC?
You can use the Ookla Speedtest App or https://www.speedtest.net to measure Internet speed.
Here is the instruction to check the wired link speed on a PC.
3. Connect a computer to the main Deco's Wi-Fi, and then check the wireless download speed and link speed on the computer.

I Tried the troubleshooting Steps as shared by you , but they did not make much difference in the performance.
1. Network Diagram : ISP Fiber Modem ( G/EPON ONU ) -> CAT 7 Cable -> MAIN DECO UNIT (Living Room ) -> CAT 6 (Ethernet Backhaul ) -> 2nd DECO UNIT (Bedroom)
Network Speed from ISP 500 MBPS Down & UP
2. Connected my Macbook to Main Deco Via Ethernet - Speedtest as below
Link Speed - 1000baseT ( Full Duplex )
3. Connect Macbook to Main Deco Wifi ( 5Ghz ) - Speedtest as below
Link Speed : Tx rate : 702 Mbps

Hi, Thank you very much for the update.
When I checked your TP-link ID, I see the Deco has been registered for quite a while. May I know how long have you had Deco M5? Did the speed issue just start recently?
It is also suggested to change a different Deco M5 as the main Deco to see whether there would be any difference:

If you haven't tried the factory reset, It is worth a last try.

@David-TP I am using the M5 since 23 June 2020 and the issue started in the 1st week of June 2023 ... I updated the firmware to 1.7.0 which was later pulled and the issue started ... post that I even downgraded the version to 1.6.5 then updated back to a beta version that you had suggested of 1.7.1 in another post ... but nothing seems to work ... I even tried resetting the device to factory settings several a times... I even switched the Main Deco ... but the issue still persist ...

@Cozzie123 I have same issue at devo m5 slow wifi..but my deco E4R running smoothly.
