I pass you another behavior with the guest network. The name of my main network is "WLAN JC". When I activate the guest network, Deco APP adds as name "WLAN JC_Guest". If I rename it, save it, use it and if I then deactivate it, when I activate it again, it again renames it as "WLAN JC_Guest".
That happens to me if I use any wifi network name as the guest network name. When I turn it off and turn it back on, it again assigns me the name "WLAN JC_Guest".

I have done more than 1 hard reset (*) of my 3 Decos X50 and I turned on my first Deco which is the one connected to the Internet. I configured it completely.
Then, I turned on Deco number 2 and without doing anything, it added itself to the existing network. The same occurs when I turned on the third one.
This behavior does not seem right to me because if a neighbor turns on a Deco X50 it would automatically join my network.
Question: is this behavior with the X50 Deco's normal?
I have other M5 Decos and if you do not register them in the network the blue light is flashing forever.
(*) I first deleted the network until and waited until all X50 Decos were left with the blue light blinking. Then I held down the "Reset" button for about 15 seconds until the light went out completely on all 3 devices.
Thanks

hello,
thanks for the release.
I discover the upgrade directly from the app.
I bought x50 system few weeks ago and with this new features I can set my network's devices with more accuracy, especially for smart device (2.4) and not mesh devices like TV and other thing in fixed positions.
But I've a question for you...I bought a second system for another home (always x50) and after a week the application still not proposing the update from 1.0.8 to 1.1.0. Do you know why? In the support section last firmware available is 1.0.8.
My app version is 3.1.7 iOS.
thaks

Hi, Did you notice the same issue before the 1.1.0 upgrade since I tested with Deco X68 and Deco M5, both kept the previously customized settings after re-enabling the guest network? I guess it might be brought by the firmware upgrade again.
As for your second issue, the latest models support auto-configuration of the satellite units on the condition that they are in the same kit, which could be seen by the MAC address. So you don't need to worry a neighbor's Deco might automatically join your network.
By the way, Thank you for your update on the ticket. Since you have done a factory reset already, I wonder whether you could get the pop-up notifications on the phone screen this time after setting up a new network?
Wait for your reply.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Hi, Thanks a lot for your feedback.
I used to get the impression when new firmware is ready, it could not push to all Deco X50s at the same time. Instead, it might randomly pick up a list of the MAC address and push the firmware. Since you have one kit in 1.1.0 already, you could monitor the firmware for a week or two. Then if everything goes on the right but the second kit still did not receive the new firmware notification, you could consider manually updating the firmware via web UI:

Hi!
I see same issue with guest network changing it's SSID to mainSSID_guest. Using 1.10 firmware. I also have a couple with 1.08 in other place (not the same network) not showing this behaviour.
Enable guest wifi -> change name -> save -> disable guest wifi -> save -> enable guest wifi -> save -> all ok
Enable guest wifi -> change name -> save -> disable guest wifi -> save -> go back to main menu in app -> return to guest wifi screen -> enable guest wifi -> ssid changed to main SSID name+_guest!

@xplodzs Hi. I do remember 20221013 is the previous beta 1.1.0 for trial and 20221202 is the later official version.
You might haven't updated the official 1.1.0 yet and the beta 1.1.0 build 20221013 could be updated to official 1.1.0 20221202 directly, without firmware recovery.
Best regards.
