I got a RE605x and RE200 connected to archer X10 via wifi under onemesh/repeater mode.

RE605x v1 on firmware 1.0.4 build 20210507

RE200 v5 on firmware 1.0.7 build 20200922

Archer X10 on firmware 1.2.3 build 20210809

When connected to the wifi of the range extender, notice the internet is is throat to 140mbps (RE605X) and 100mbps (RE200) , but when connected to my archer X10 router wifi I manage to get 240mbps-280mbps (my internet package is 300mbps)

it seem like I get the wifi range by sacrifice the internet speed , is there anyway to fix this?

when I change both RE605x and RE200 to access point mode , I able to get back the same speed as when I connected my router wifi, but under this mode is unable to have onemesh network, is there a way to make this onemesh network?

As range extender needs to receive data from the router and then forward it to the connected clients and speed will decrease during the transmission, we use it more to increase the stability in Wi-Fi dead spots or extend range. The speed you provided looks in a reasonable range. You could leave devices requires faster speed on RE's 5Ghz band.

Range extender mode will sacrifice some speed, AP mode has better speed, but AP mode does not support oneMesh yet, so far I did not see a good compromise here.

When RE uses the same SSIDs as router, even in AP mode, devices remembered the credential could roam between AP and router, the roaming process will have a few secs cut off, you could switch RE to AP mode for a test and see if that could satisfy the usage.
