~Trying to log into my router, and interest of the usual username/password prompt there is only one box ( not sure if its password or username) typing in either brings up an error followed by you have entered the incorrect password more than 5 times and you are now locked out for 590 seconds

Seriously - who the f comes up with this shyte??

i can fully understand the need for security but this is just taking the piss.

 it took a while to set the sodding thing up so i really do not want to do a factory reset on it

@Richard_T123

If you have only one input box then that's the router password filed. If you can't remember the password you set I am afraid that you'll need to reset the device - method 1 and re-configure from scratch.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".
