Firmware Updates---Onemesh firmware for Archer AX6000
Updated on 2121-02-25:
Hello all,
The Onemesh firmware for the Archer AX6000 has been officially released, those who haven't updated the AX6000 firmware for Onemesh can check for the updates on your Tether app or on the router web interface, or you can download and install it manually from the TP-Link official website here:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/archer-ax6000/#Firmware
We've got the new firmware for the Archer AX6000, which adds the support for Onemesh. This version has not been officially released yet, you can manually update your router firmware if you would like to implement the Onemesh with some existing range extenders.
Here is the download link:
Refer to this guide to add the existing extender to the Onemesh network:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2509/
We hope you could help provide some details about the network layout, which will help us to understand your usage better:
1. What is the model number of the range extender that you want to add to the AX6000 Onemesh network? How many extenders?
2. How large of the house, how are the AX6000 and the range extenders located, are all on the same floor, or on different floors?
3. How about the Onemesh network performance? Is it as good as expected?
Do let us know if you have any other inquiries. Have a nice day.

Thank you for your help! I've received an answer from your colleagues at the support. The new version of the SW (1.2.1) solved my issues. The trick is also to set the DHCP leave time to > 1440 minutes (1 day), turn off DHCP on the RE605X and use a static address for the RE605X (192.168.0.254 is the default).
Now, I get a lot from the OneMesh system - the transfer rates are ca. 80-90% if connected via RE605X.
Thanks!
