I start Amazon return...No MAC Whitelist, NO WAY...
Modify the firmware to make whitlist!

Bought Deco E4 blindly for the brand name. Now I regret my choice. A most important security feature (MAC filtering/Whitelisting) missing from this Deco and surprised to see that there are no plans at all to implement this feature. Such a waste of money. Disappointed.

Why are there no plan to support whitelist MAC-filtering.
In my other TP-Link WLAN devices this is standard and it's an important and usefull security feature.
Blacklisting is not practicable, because I don't know what devices (MAC) will try to connect my WLAN.
That's the decisive different between whitelist and blacklist.

Bought one for parental control, found out there is no MAC whitelist. It is not possible to control kids ipad that have random MAC protect.
Have to return it, waste my money and time.

I bought a AXE5300 mesh router and and then returned it becuase it does not allow whitelisting. You may want to consider putting in that feature within the next 5 months. If you do, I will move from Netgear to Tp-link. Otherwise, I will stay with Netgear.

@soumyassg Whitelist logic should be very simple to implement for TP-link. Not sure why this is not implemented

@soumyassg Just found out this serious drawback after setting up the expensive DECO XE75. Going straight to the store to RETURN and REFUND it. Nice looking UI on app but seriously lacking basic featuires for HIGH END routers.
