Hi, i have configured the wifi extender like
from the post set at the top of the forum, but in any case I have no internet connection, I attach a screen with the settings entered, please tell me if I'm wrong, I tried to use both 8.8.8.8 as a dns and the address of the main router. obviously by connecting directly to the main router everything works correctly.

Hello, what about the wifi password? Did you use the same password as the main router's wifi password to configure the TL-WA850RE? 

 

What is the led status of the TL-WA850RE now? 

 

Please connect your computer to it and click here to get the IP address and gateway. Please show me a picture of these information.

i'm not at home now but i can tell you all information. the gateway is 192.168.1.1, the range extender is 192.168.1.150 and the phone ip is 192.168.1.187 (manual). Led on is Power, wireless and wi-fi icon. i've try to change also dns in 8.8.8.8 or 192.168.1.150 or 192.168.1.1 but nothing change....

Try to change the DHCP server of 850RE from off to on and customize the DHCP settings to give it a go. You can refer to Case 3 of this thread.

Please change static IP to dynamic IP and connect your iphone to the main router's wifi to check the IP address and gateway. Then you can connect it to the extender and verify whether it can obtain valid IP address and gateway automatically. 

 

Besides, what is the model number of the main router?
