Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: NA

Anyone who has actual experience with a high gain antenna for the TPLINK Archer MR600 - please whisper the model and make to me....    ;)

Situation:

External - 2-3m from router - 1st floor - distance to mast <2km but lots of trees between router and mast.

Current speed between 10Mbs and 15Mbs.

@Kevin_Z  set up is/was indeed plug and play - just looking to avoid possible future TV buffering.

Cheers,  MarkBFr

@MarkBFr

Hi Mark, the Archer MR600 has 2 × Detachable 4G LTE Antennas, not the Wi-Fi antenna, it is not suggested to change them.

Besides, the signal strength relates to the capability of the router itself as well, it is not enough to get a high gain antenna. If you want to broadcast wifi outside, you can use some outdoor devices, like EAP or CPE device.

Good day.
