Model: Archer AX6000  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.6

I have 1gb service but for some reason my wired connection is capped at 100mbps.  I can connect directly to the modem and get the full 1gb (so I know it's not the cable or ethernet port on the PC) and when I connect to the 5G wireless I get about 300mbps.

 

Any ideas on why the wired connection is capped and what I can do to fix it?

Try a different device although you would think if you get 1000 when attached to the modem you should get that through the router. Try different ports on the router with all of the other ports empty and use a different cable. Power cycle modem, router, and PC.

@ArcherC8 Thanks for the response. I actually moved it to where it's going to live this morning and when I reconnected (possibly to a new port???) everything was working as expected.
