Hi,
first i have to apologize myself for bad english knowledge, but hopefully you will understand.

My Wifi configuration is:
Wifi Router TP Link Archer AC1900 C9 / V1.0 / Firmware 4.1.0 Build 20160517 Rel. 35411
Wifi Repeater TP Link AC1750 RE450(EU) / V1.0 / Firmware 1.0.0 Build 20171215 Rel. 55534
TP Link 5-Port Gigabit Switch Tl-SG1005D

Router is located in 2nd floor of my house. Repeater is located in ground floor. Switch is connected to LAN connector of repeater.
The problem is, it happens very often (2x…5x a week) that notebook has no internet, when connected to Wifi of repeater. The same for TV and Sky receiver, both connected via LAN to Switch.
Looks like repeater don’t work anymore.
After power off and an from repeater everything is fine for a while.
Firmware router and repeater both have latest version.
I tried to switch off 5GHz network and and seems to be better. But happens now again.

What can i do?

Excuse me, but refering to FAQ is quite useless in this case. In my opinion it is a bug in the firmware.
Due to high sporadic problem repeater is blocked internal until power off/on reset.
Can someone official from TP link take care avout this problem?
Btw: LED ring in repeater flashes from time to time red shortly, due to far distance to router. When i switch off 5Ghz network no red flashing appears. All time blue.
And no, i have no other chance for placing repeater in ground floor.
I must live with this situation,

Edit:
I found a thread with a similiar problem. I play now for a while with some repeater parameter.

Hopefully solved

update:
Hopefully i finally find the solution.
I switched off DHCP Server in RE450 and set manual IP address. It works now for 11 days without repeater blocked.

I can't really understand why DHCP server is on by factory default, when in 99% of all cases DHCP server in Router is active.
I have only small knowledges about networks. What about standard user without any system knowledges? They are helpless.

And there is now sufficient support by TP Link. Not a good reputation.

Interested in the IP address used. Did you reserve via the router, I have a SKY hub, within its range and then apply it to the RE450
