Well, I'm seeing another thread regarding XE75 that is saying the same thing - no dedicated 6Ghz backhaul any longer since TP Link decided to remove that option.  Garbage decision in my mind.  Silly.

  @dn325ci If you do not enable the 6GHz band, it will be dedicated to the backhaul.

Similarly, if you do not enable the 2.4 or 5 Ghz band, it will be dedicated to the backhaul.

  @yves_b Are you quite sure?  Another IT guy told me that disables 6GHz entirely.  Please advise, as I'd obviously love for that to be the result.

Disabling a band does not affect its usage by the backhaul.

even after 1.0.6 the issues with this unit are so significant I am likely to return it.

the 2.4 band is restricted to channel width of 20mhz, the wired backhaul doesn't work, and as others have mentioned is stuck in a loop back effectively, the DFS channels are unusable, unless you trick the system by removing a satellite- then it will allow you to select 240mhz channel width for 5Ghz - this whole this is a mess as others have said.

very disappointing dropoff in quality - TP Link don't release devices without proper quality control. In comparison to my previous, rock solid amazing deco network - this has been a disaster. Am debating switching to Asus or Linksys after this debacle.

hopefully someone at TP Link management intervenes and fixes the buggy app and the shortcomings of what should have been a good wifi 7 mesh
