Tapo D230 Doorbell not connecting to H200 Hub After working for a year.
I have had the Tapo Hub and Doorbell working fine for over a year now. I just changed my router and tried to change all the connections but it didnt work so I started again from fresh. I removed all the connections within the app and reset the hub and managed to connect to it fine. Unfortunately it always fails when connecting to the D230 Doorbell.
Before I try to connect the Tapo Hub LED is amber and the Doorbell LED blinks red/green. I try to start connecting and both LEDs change, the hub blinks green/off and the doorbell blinks green/off. It just stays on the blue screen in the app which says connecting to the hub until the connection times out. The Tapo Hub LED goes back to amber and the Doorbell LED blinks red/green again.
I have tried:
-Sitting the doorbell right next to the hub
-Resetting both before trying to connect.
-Powering both off and on before connecting.
-I have tried removing the SD card as another user suggested.
-I have tried connecting with the Hub on WIFI.
It always gets stuck at the same point. The Diagnostics option on the Hub is greyed out so I can't even check the logs.
