This Article Applies To

Tapo C100 V5 and TC60 V5 with firmware version 1.0.7, and the camera’s S/N start with 22453P3 or 22452J3.


Phenomenon Description

When first configuring the Tapo C100 V5 or TC60 V5 on an iPhone, the error message in the below picture prompts, and the camera can't be configured successfully.


 
Workaround

1. The problem does not occur on an Android phone. Please try to configure the camera with an Android phone if you have one.


2. If you do not have an Android phone, try to cover the camera's lens with an opaque item or point the camera toward the wall to reduce the image changes, then reconfigure the camera and check if it will work fine.
