Hi,

My C500 camera has been working no problems for over a year but i had to switch it off the other day and when I I turned it back on it wouldn't connect. There was a solid red LED on. I've reset and added it to my Tapo Home App several times. It adds the camera OK but when I try to view the stream the infinity loop appears as if trying to connect but never does. The bizarre thing is that when I come out of that new device the App deletes that device and it disapears from the home device list. I've tried this a dozen times with full resets and it does the same thing everytime. There are 2 other tapo cameras on that network that are working fine. Any suggestions?

Hi,
You can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot the reported issue.
What should I do if I fail to configure Tapo Camera?

If the problem remains, please confirm:
1. The model number of your router.
2. Try to press the reset button on the camera for 10 seconds to factory reset the camera, enable a hotspot Wi-Fi on a phone, reconfigure the camera on another phone, connect it to the hotspot Wi-Fi, and check if you can set it up successfully.

Best Regards

  @ArchieB

I tried resetting the camera and adding it another dozen times today.

It now only gets to the "Pairing" stage and then fails leaving a solid amber LED. I've made sure that my phone is connected to the same network as suggested in the help suggestions. That's as far as I can get
