Tapo C220's mic noises
I've use the C220 for 1 month, and found out that its mic is so bad.
It's like the noise reduction too much, makes the recording misses pretty much important sound.
The recording is attached to this thread, please increase the volume to hear the noises!

Hi All,
If you have updated the firmware of the Tapo C220 V1 to the latest one(1.2.1 Build 240822 Rel.42213n), and the audio quality of the camera is not as good as before, please provide the following information for further analyze the problem.
1. The firmware version was used on the Tapo C220.
2. A video showing the audio quality problem of the Tapo C220, and how you record the video.
3. The microphone and speaker volume are set on the camera.

Do you hear the cricket sounds on the camera's Live View page all the time on the phone and hope the video recordings display the actual usage scenario rather than reduce the noises?
Is the Tapo C220 installed indoors? It's an indoor camera, you can install it in a different location and check if the noise will reduce or disappear.

@Solla-topee No, I don't hear them too. I know the C220 is designed for indoor use, but it has vehicle detection - forces me to install it outside but it is under a roof and there's no water or too much dust.
The mic filters unnecessary noises, but sometimes if someone is talking but not loud, the cam filters the voice but the Tapo C320WS the voice still can be heard.

Usually, the Tapo C220 may filter the noise in the environment but won't filter the human voice. Can I have the videos showing the Tapo C320WS won't filter the human voice but the C220 filters for further analysis?

Согласен с вами, такое ощущение, что функция фильтрации шума в C220 настроена на высокий уровень, что делает звук на заднем плане неестественным, как шумовое явление.

@Solla-topee Хотелось бы узнать, у самого TP-LINK - Проблему будут решать, или лучше сразу идти сдавать назад данное изделие?? Пока есть право - сдать данную поделку. Вам не составит труда - как я делал - сравнить С220 С200 С210 и С320WS - в одном помещении - один и тот же источник звука с PC в соседней комнате - одно и то же сетевое оборудование, одни и те же условия в локальной сети, и сразу будет понятно, что не спроста поднята эта проблема.
