How can I connect my Tapo c200 to my Reolink NVR RLN8-410?

I choose an ONVIF camera, I then enter the correct IP address (found via the TAPO app),

my username and password and I have tried it via the ports: 80, 8080, 554, 2020 and 9000,

but I get no connection characters. wrong. So viewing via the app works fine.

If I go directly to the IP address on the PC (tried with different port numbers),

I get the message that it cannot be reached.

If I try it via the VLC player (stream) it works on the correct IP address (rtsp://192.168.2.13//stream2)

so the IP address is definitely correct.

What is wrong?

Regards,

Hans

  @Hansja

Hi,
If you can stream the Tapo C200 on the VLC player, it means the settings on the Tapo C200 are correct.

You can refer to the link below to configure some basic parameters that it may require to connect the Tapo camera to your NVR, and it's suggested to contact NVR support or visit their official website to find the instructions to add the camera to your NVR since different NVR devices may have different configuration methods.
How can I connect my Tapo camera to a NAS or NVR?

Note:
1) If your Tapo C200 and the NVR are in different networks, it's required to open ports 554 or 2020 on your modem/router for the camera, and the IP address to stream the camera via RTSP/ONVIF on the NVR should be the public IP address on your modem/router.
2) The Tapo C200 does not have a web UI, and it's unable to access it by typing the IP address on a browser's address bar on a PC.

Best Regards
