@Solla-topee When will this feature be in place? Power failure causes cameras to go to default!

Latest firmware update, most likey a week back, has solved this.

You could try updating too.

Hey Were you able to set the default position? I don't see an option to do this in The camera app. 

Please let me know what the process for getting this done is.

There is no option in the app to set the default position so far.

While the camera is on, you can Pan and Tilt using the app, till you reach the desired position.

Now, if you turn off the camera and then switch on, camera will do its roundabout tests and return to the above position.

Every restart of the camera set it on the default position not into the last one.

Could someone give me an advice? What can I do?

Same Hardware version, but I am running 1.0.16

Now I am afraid to upgrade to 1.0.17.

@avisekjena you can update without problems.

Everything went wrong when I changed my wifi password and I had to updated it on my c200. From that moment, every time that the camera restart it moved to default position.

This is the good point: After doing A HARD RESET, everything is working fine again.

@Solla-topee Is this resolved yet? I just got a C210 a few days ago and planning to mount it upside down on the ceiling. But with its default position, the camera is pretty much pointing to the ceiling everytime it does a restart.

If we can't override the default position, that will mean the "motion detection", "Auto reboot" etc are pretty useless already. Like someone pointed it out in the event of power failure, the camera will point at the angle not serving the intended purpose anymore
