Camera was working fine but after the last firmware update which I did on Jan 2019 - which is NC450_v1.5.0_181022

 

I then noticed frequent disconnections - and it never can display the video feed or am I able to access the camera features through the tpCamera app anymore.

 

So I decided to reset the camera and tried to setup again. It worked a few times but after a while it would just disconnect and the same problem arises.

 

Now it's gotten to the point that I can't even setup the camera anymore. Everytime during setup it would be flashing green - and when it is about to turn to a stable green LED just for a second or two, it will turn turn red and spin around again effectively restarting itself everytime!

 

I have even tried setting it up by plugging directly to the router using an Ethernet cable - and the same thing happens! Just goes green for a while - and then turns red and blinking red then spinning around again.

 

My main router is a TP Deco M4 on the latest firmware in Malaysia - which I thought should work fine since they are from the same manufacturer.

 

This makes the whole camera useless.... can someone please help? I really need to get the camera working - and if it's not then I would throw it away and get a new one than wasting my time on this~!

Hello, we can try to upgrade the camera's firmware version via the web interface. Please follow the steps below.

 

1. Factory reset the camera, then download the firmware on your computer with the link below.

2. Connect your computer to the camera with an Ethernet cable, when camera's light turns to solid red, refer to the instruction below to login the camera's management page(Method 2 using a PC).

3. Refer to the instruction below to upgrade it.

4. Connect the camera back to the router with Ethernet cable, reinstall it with the APP.
